Why it matters
A phone system built for offices won't fit your hotel
Guests call the front desk from their rooms, and outside callers ring the same desk to book, ask and change plans. A phone system built for offices carries those calls. It lacks the controls a hotel runs on, such as call restrictions at check-in and check-out, wake-up calls and room status codes for housekeeping.
Our Cloud PBX is built for hotels, and hotels usually move to it when the old system starts to show its age.
A generic business phone system
- No call restrictions at check-in and check-out
- Does not connect to your property management system (PMS)
- No wake-up calls or room status codes for housekeeping
A hotel phone system
- Applies call restrictions at check-in and check-out
- Connects to your PMS and other hotel applications
- Wake-up calls and room status updates for housekeeping
Built for hotels
Certified for the systems and brands hotels rely on
Our Cloud PBX is pre-certified with Oracle OPERA Cloud and OPERA 5 and integrates with 35+ other property management systems. It also connects to other hotel applications, such as hotel operations and ticketing platforms and guest messaging systems. It is approved by Marriott and many other hotel brands.
BluIP is a licensed phone carrier, and the platform runs on carrier-grade infrastructure. The same support team handles the phone system and the phone lines, so your team works with people who know your whole setup.

Migration
Your wiring stays when the phone system changes
Hotels often put off a phone migration because they worry about guests mid-stay. The move reuses your existing phones and wiring, so nobody pulls phones out room by room. The switch happens in a planned window outside business hours, and calls are tested on the new platform before the old system is turned off.
What stays
- Your existing wiring
- Compatible analog and IP phones
What changes
- The phone system itself
- Proprietary handsets
For finance

AI receptionist
Add AIVA to the same system whenever you're ready
BluIP is a licensed phone carrier, so AIVA, the AI receptionist, sees the room number as the call rings. The PMS connection lets AIVA answer routine guest calls and complete requests in your systems. Anything that needs a person goes to your team with the guest, the room and the request attached.
You do not need AIVA to move your phone system. When you are ready, AIVA runs on the same platform, with nothing to rebuild. The cloud contact center and SIP trunking run on it too.
